My hobby mojo has been a bit off lately. I can't find the willingness to start painting anything, or finish painting anything - I'm looking at you 5 Leman Russ'! However, whilst I don't want to paint, I do want to get stuff ready for painting.

There has been one project that has been staring back at me, languishing at the top of my display cabinet, that I chose to add to over the past couple of weeks. I grabbed the Mega Bastion off the shelf, gave it a quick dust down and grabbed some paint. This was also going to be a chance for to try out another of the stencil designs from Anarchy Models. Obviously it would have been handy for me to take some WIP shots, but most of the work was done in an insomnia fuelled craze. 123 - Behold! The Mega Bastion - Part 1

Back in November last year (didn't realise it was that long ago), I grabbed a built and painted bastion when my FLGS closed down. It was pretty poorly put together. Mold lines etc hadn't been cleaned up, so generally it didn't fit together. The paint also a little bit dodgy and basic.
